Description
These White Chocolate Pretzel Clusters are a quick, no-bake holiday candy with the perfect sweet-and-salty crunch. They mix creamy white chocolate with lightly crushed salted pretzels, optional nuts, and festive candies—then set in minutes for the easiest giftable treat.
Ingredients
16 oz (450 g) high-quality white chocolate baking bars, chopped (or white chocolate chips)
1 tsp refined coconut oil or neutral oil (optional, for thinning)
4 cups mini salted pretzels, lightly crushed
1/2 cup roasted salted peanuts or almonds, roughly chopped (optional)
1/2 cup holiday M&M’s or sprinkles (optional)
Flaky sea salt, for topping
Instructions
1. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats. Set aside.
2. Place pretzels in a zip-top bag and gently crush with a rolling pin into bite-size pieces—avoid turning them into crumbs.
3. Microwave method: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate with coconut oil in 20–30 second bursts, stirring between each until smooth. Or melt in a double boiler over barely simmering water, stirring constantly.
4. Stir the crushed pretzels into the melted white chocolate. Fold in nuts and half of the candies if using.
5. Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, drop heaping spoonfuls onto the prepared sheets, spacing slightly.
6. Top with remaining candies and a pinch of flaky sea salt. Let set at room temperature 20–30 minutes, or chill 10–15 minutes until firm.
7. Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container at cool room temperature for up to 1 week, or refrigerate up to 2 weeks.
Notes
For smooth melting, choose bar chocolate over chips.
If the mixture thickens while scooping, briefly warm the bowl over hot water and stir.
Layer parchment between stacked clusters for gifting.
