This Tuxedo Cake is a decadent triple chocolate dessert made with layers of rich chocolate cake, creamy white chocolate mousse, and smooth dark chocolate ganache. It’s an elegant and indulgent treat perfect for special occasions and chocolate lovers.
Ingredients
For the cake:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the white chocolate mousse:
1 cup white chocolate, melted
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
For the dark chocolate ganache:
1 cup dark chocolate chips
1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease cake pans.
2. In a bowl mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt.
3. Add milk, oil, eggs and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
4. Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for 25–30 minutes.
5. Allow cakes to cool completely.
6. To make white chocolate mousse, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
7. Fold in melted white chocolate gently and refrigerate.
8. For ganache, heat heavy cream and pour over dark chocolate chips.
9. Stir until smooth and glossy.
10. To assemble, place one cake layer and spread white chocolate mousse on top.
11. Add the second cake layer.
12. Pour ganache over the top and spread evenly.
13. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing and serving.
Notes
Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor.
Chill the cake well before slicing for clean layers.
You can add a layer of chocolate mousse for extra richness.
Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
