1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment or grease well.
2. In a bowl, whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla for the brownie layer.
3. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined. Pour into the pan and smooth out.
4. In a separate bowl, cream softened butter with both sugars for the cookie layer.
5. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda, and salt; mix just until combined.
