Ingredients
2 salmon fillets
1 tbsp oil
Salt & pepper to taste
For the teriyaki sauce:
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp garlic (minced)
1 tsp ginger (grated)
1 tsp cornstarch (optional for thickening)
Optional: sesame seeds, green onions
Instructions
1. Season salmon with salt and pepper.
2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
3. Cook salmon until golden and cooked through.
4. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
5. Pour sauce into the pan.
6. Simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
7. Spoon sauce over salmon.
8. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
9. Serve hot with rice or vegetables.
Notes
Do not overcook salmon to keep it juicy.
Use low-sodium soy sauce if preferred.
Add chili flakes for a spicy twist.
