Description

This Spicy Cajun Chicken Pasta is creamy, bold, and irresistibly flavorful! Juicy chicken, tender pasta, and vibrant bell peppers tossed in a smoky Cajun cream sauce — it’s the perfect easy weeknight dinner with a kick!

Ingredients

**For the Chicken**

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced thin

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (divided)

Salt & black pepper, to taste

**For the Pasta & Sauce**

8 oz penne or linguine pasta

1 tbsp butter

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 yellow bell pepper, sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup chicken broth

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

1. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. Season chicken with half the Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken and cook 5–6 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

4. In the same skillet, melt butter and add sliced bell peppers. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until softened.

5. Add garlic and remaining Cajun seasoning; cook 30 seconds until fragrant.

6. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.

7. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and creamy.

8. Return chicken to the skillet, add cooked pasta, and toss to coat evenly in sauce.

9. Simmer 1–2 minutes, then sprinkle with red pepper flakes and garnish with parsley.

10. Serve hot and enjoy your creamy, spicy Cajun masterpiece!

Notes

Use andouille sausage or shrimp instead of chicken for variation.

For a lighter version, swap half-and-half for heavy cream.

Want it spicier? Add cayenne or more Cajun seasoning to taste.

This pasta reheats beautifully — just add a splash of milk or broth before reheating.
