Description

This One-Pan Cowboy Butter Tortellini Steak Bites recipe is rich, zesty, and full of flavor! Tender steak bites and cheesy tortellini tossed in a buttery, garlicky sauce with lemon, herbs, and chili — an easy, delicious dinner ready in 30 minutes.

Ingredients

**For the Steak Bites**

1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt & black pepper, to taste

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp smoked paprika

**For the Cowboy Butter Sauce**

½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp lemon zest

½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes

1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

1 tbsp chopped chives (optional)

½ tsp paprika

Salt & pepper, to taste

**For the Pasta**

12 oz cheese tortellini, cooked and drained

Extra parsley and lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

1. Cook the tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

2. Pat steak bites dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites in a single layer and sear 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove and set aside.

4. Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the skillet. Once melted, stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

5. Add Dijon mustard, lemon juice, zest, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Stir to combine.

6. Return steak bites to the skillet along with cooked tortellini. Toss everything in the buttery sauce until evenly coated.

7. Sprinkle in parsley and chives, then remove from heat.

8. Serve immediately with lemon wedges and a sprinkle of extra herbs — creamy, buttery, and totally irresistible!

Notes

Use a high-quality cut like sirloin or ribeye for the juiciest steak bites.

Add shrimp for a surf-and-turf twist!

Make it spicy by doubling the red pepper flakes.

This dish pairs beautifully with garlic bread or a crisp salad.
