Description

Marbled Cookies with Peanut Butter & Chocolate Brownie Swirls are decadent, rich, and bakery-style treats packed with fudgy brownie flavor, creamy peanut butter swirls, and soft chewy cookie texture. These irresistible homemade cookies deliver the perfect balance of chocolate and peanut butter for dessert lovers and holiday cookie trays.

Ingredients

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup chocolate chips

1/3 cup creamy peanut butter

2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

3. Beat softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl until creamy.

4. Add egg and vanilla extract, then mix until smooth.

5. Whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.

6. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined.

7. Fold chocolate chips into the cookie dough.

8. Mix peanut butter and powdered sugar in a small bowl until smooth.

9. Scoop portions of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet.

10. Drop small spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture onto each cookie dough portion.

11. Use a toothpick or knife to swirl the peanut butter into the brownie dough gently.

12. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges become set.

13. Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Do not overbake the cookies to keep the centers soft and fudgy.

Creamy peanut butter creates the smoothest swirls.

Add extra chocolate chips for richer brownie flavor.

Chill the dough for 20 minutes if it feels too soft.

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
