Description

These Gourmet Roasted Stuffed Dates with Creamy Goat Cheese are the ultimate sweet-savory bite! With warm, caramelized Medjool dates filled with tangy goat cheese and finished with a drizzle of honey or balsamic glaze, they’re an irresistible 20-minute appetizer.

Ingredients

12 Medjool dates, pitted

4 oz goat cheese, softened

1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary or thyme (optional)

12 almond halves or walnut pieces (optional, for crunch)

1 tablespoon olive oil

Honey or balsamic glaze, for drizzling

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Make a lengthwise slit in each pitted date and gently open them.

3. In a small bowl, mix goat cheese with fresh herbs if using.

4. Stuff each date with 1–2 teaspoons of goat cheese. Add a nut piece if desired.

5. Place stuffed dates on the baking sheet and brush tops lightly with olive oil.

6. Roast for 10–12 minutes until warmed through and slightly caramelized.

7. Drizzle with honey or balsamic glaze before serving. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

• Use flavored goat cheese (like honey or herb) for a twist.

• Make ahead and reheat just before serving.

• Great as a passed appetizer or part of a charcuterie board.
