Ingredients
2 cups fresh strawberries, crushed
4 cups granulated sugar
1 packet fruit pectin
3/4 cup water
Instructions
1. Wash and hull the fresh strawberries thoroughly.
2. Crush the strawberries using a potato masher until slightly chunky.
3. Add crushed strawberries and granulated sugar to a large bowl.
4. Stir well and let the mixture rest for 10 minutes.
5. Add water and fruit pectin to a saucepan.
6. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat while stirring constantly.
7. Boil for 1 minute, then remove from the heat.
8. Pour the hot pectin mixture into the strawberry mixture.
9. Stir continuously for 3 minutes until fully combined.
10. Pour the jam into clean freezer-safe jars or containers, leaving a little space at the top.
11. Let the jam sit at room temperature for 24 hours until set.
