2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and black pepper, to taste
**For the Potato Bake:**
4 medium russet or gold potatoes, thinly sliced
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
3. Add steak cubes, season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Sear 1–2 minutes per side (they will finish in the oven). Remove and set aside.
4. In a bowl, whisk together cream, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
5. Layer half the potato slices in the prepared dish. Pour half the cream mixture over, then sprinkle with half of each cheese.

8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm!

Use a mix of cheddar and Gruyère for extra flavor.
Make ahead: assemble potatoes and cream mixture, cover, and refrigerate up to 24 hours before baking.
Swap steak for chicken or sausage if desired.
Pair with a green salad or roasted veggies for a balanced meal.
