1/2 cup sour cream

For the Apple Filling:

2 cups apples, peeled and diced

1/3 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon cornstarch

For the Glaze:

2. Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

3. Stir in sour cream until dough forms.

4. Divide dough into two portions, wrap, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

5. In a saucepan, cook apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and cornstarch until softened and thickened. Let cool.

13. Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over the pastry.

14. Slice and serve.
