These Salmon Tartlets are a quick and delicious seafood appetizer made with flaky pastry shells filled with creamy salmon mixture and baked until golden. Perfect for parties, brunch, or elegant gatherings, they are easy to prepare and full of flavor.
Ingredients
12 mini tart shells (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup cooked salmon, flaked
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a bowl combine flaked salmon, cream cheese, sour cream, lemon juice, Dijon mustard and dill.
3. Season with salt and black pepper and mix until smooth and creamy.
4. Place tart shells on a baking sheet.
5. Spoon the salmon mixture evenly into each tart shell.
6. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top if using.
7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until heated through and lightly golden.
8. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly.
9. Serve warm and enjoy.
Notes
Use smoked salmon for a richer flavor variation.
Garnish with extra dill or lemon zest before serving.
These tartlets can be prepared ahead and reheated.
