Description

This Dump & Bake Cranberry Cobbler is festive, fruity, and fabulously easy. You don’t even need a mixing bowl—just layer the ingredients right in the baking dish. Perfect for holiday dinners, potlucks, or cozy nights when dessert feels like a must.

Ingredients

2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries (no need to thaw)

3/4 cup sugar

1 box yellow cake mix

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted

1/2 cup orange juice (or water)

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or spray with nonstick cooking spray.

3. Spread the cranberries evenly in the bottom of the baking dish.

4. Sprinkle sugar evenly over the cranberries.

5. If using, add cinnamon over the sugar for warmth.

6. Evenly sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over everything—do not stir.

7. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the dry cake mix.

8. Pour orange juice (or water) around the edges for extra moisture—again, don’t stir.

9. Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, until the top is golden brown and bubbling at the edges.

10. Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.

Notes

Using orange juice adds brightness and balances the tartness of the cranberries.

Don’t stir! Leaving the layers separated creates a gooey fruit bottom and crisp buttery top.

For extra crunch, sprinkle chopped pecans on top before baking.
