Ingredients
6 cups day-old bread, cubed
1 cup dark chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate
2 cups whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
4 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a baking dish.
2. Add cubed bread to the dish and sprinkle dark chocolate evenly over it.
3. In a large bowl, whisk milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, salt, and cinnamon.
4. Pour the custard mixture over the bread and press gently so the bread absorbs the liquid.
5. Let the mixture sit for 15 minutes to soak.
6. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until the center is set but still soft.
7. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly.
8. Serve warm with whipped cream, powdered sugar, or extra chocolate drizzle.
