Ingredients

For the Rice Pudding:

1 cup uncooked rice

2 cups milk

1 can (400g) sweetened condensed milk

1/2 cup heavy cream

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt

Optional:

Raisins or nuts

Extra cinnamon for topping

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish.

2. Cook rice until just tender, then drain if needed.

3. In a bowl, whisk milk, condensed milk, cream, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.

4. Add cooked rice and mix well.

5. Pour mixture into the baking dish.

6. Bake for 40–50 minutes until set and lightly golden on top.

7. Let cool slightly before serving.

8. Sprinkle with cinnamon or add raisins/nuts if desired.

Notes

Use short-grain rice for best results.

Serve warm for comfort or chilled for a refreshing dessert.

Store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
