Description

Cinnamon Roll Banana Bread is moist, sweet, and swirled with irresistible cinnamon flavor. Ripe bananas, buttery brown sugar cinnamon filling, and creamy glaze come together in this easy homemade banana bread that tastes just like a warm cinnamon roll.

Ingredients

For the Banana Bread:

2 ripe bananas, mashed

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 cup milk

For the Cinnamon Swirl:

1/3 cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons melted butter

For the Glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar

2 tablespoons milk

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

2. In a large bowl, whisk mashed bananas, melted butter, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.

3. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon together.

4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the banana mixture.

5. Stir in milk until the batter becomes smooth.

6. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter for the swirl filling.

7. Pour half of the banana bread batter into the prepared loaf pan.

8. Spread half of the cinnamon swirl mixture over the batter.

9. Add the remaining banana bread batter on top.

10. Swirl the remaining cinnamon mixture through the batter using a knife.

11. Bake for 50 to 55 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

12. Cool bread in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

13. Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract together for the glaze.

14. Drizzle glaze over the cooled banana bread before slicing and serving.

Notes

Use extra ripe bananas for the sweetest flavor and moist texture.

Do not overmix the batter or the bread may become dense.

Cover loosely with foil if the top browns too quickly while baking.

Store covered at room temperature for up to 3 days.
