Description

These chocolate marshmallow swirl cookies are soft, chewy, and irresistibly gooey! Rich chocolate cookie dough is swirled with fluffy marshmallow for a bakery-style treat that melts in your mouth — perfect for holidays, bake sales, or everyday chocolate cravings.

Ingredients

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

¾ cup brown sugar

¼ cup granulated sugar

1 large egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour (or GF 1:1 flour)

⅓ cup cocoa powder

½ tsp baking soda

¼ tsp salt

½ cup chocolate chips

½ cup marshmallow creme

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

3. Beat in egg and vanilla until smooth.

4. In another bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

5. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until just combined.

6. Fold in chocolate chips.

7. Scoop cookie dough onto baking sheet, spacing evenly.

8. Drop small spoonfuls of marshmallow creme on top of each cookie.

9. Use a toothpick or knife to gently swirl marshmallow into the dough.

10. Bake 9–11 minutes, until edges are set and centers are soft.

11. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a rack.

Notes

Do not overbake — cookies firm up as they cool.

For extra gooey centers, slightly underbake.

Chill dough 20 minutes if spreading too much.

Cookies taste amazing warm or at room temperature.
