Description

Cajun Chicken Tortellini with Garlic Sauce is spicy, creamy, and packed with bold flavor. Tender Cajun-seasoned chicken is tossed with cheese tortellini in a rich garlic cream sauce for a satisfying pasta dinner that feels indulgent but comes together fast.

Ingredients

1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, sliced

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tsp Cajun seasoning

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 package (18–20 oz) refrigerated cheese tortellini

For the garlic cream sauce:

2 tbsp butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Optional add-ins:

Fresh spinach

Chopped parsley

Extra Cajun seasoning

Instructions

1. Cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

3. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

4. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

5. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

6. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.

7. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream; simmer for 3–4 minutes.

8. Stir in parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.

9. Add cooked tortellini and chicken back to the skillet.

10. Toss to coat evenly in the sauce.

11. Add spinach if using and cook until wilted.

12. Serve warm, garnished with parsley or extra Cajun seasoning.

Notes

• Adjust Cajun seasoning to control heat.

• Use freshly grated parmesan for best texture.

• Great with shrimp swapped in for chicken.
