Description

This Blackened Steak Shrimp Alfredo is a rich and creamy Cajun-inspired pasta dish featuring juicy blackened steak, tender shrimp, and a velvety Alfredo sauce. Packed with bold spices and indulgent flavors, it’s the perfect restaurant-quality meal you can make at home.

Ingredients

For the Steak & Shrimp:

1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced

1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Pasta:

8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice

For the Alfredo Sauce:

2 tablespoons butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Optional garnish:

Fresh parsley

Extra parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

2. Season steak and shrimp with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

4. Cook steak slices for 3–4 minutes until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove and set aside.

5. In the same skillet, cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

6. Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the skillet.

7. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

8. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

9. Stir in parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook until sauce thickens.

10. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat evenly.

11. Return steak and shrimp to the skillet and mix gently.

12. Garnish with parsley and extra parmesan, then serve hot.

Notes

Do not overcook shrimp to keep them tender.

Use freshly grated parmesan for a smoother sauce.

Adjust Cajun seasoning to control spice level.

You can substitute chicken for steak if preferred.
