Description

This Delicious Asian Garlic Shrimp Recipe features juicy shrimp tossed in a sweet, savory garlic soy glaze. It’s quick, easy, and packed with bold Asian-inspired flavors — a perfect seafood dinner ready in 20 minutes!

Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon rice vinegar or lime juice

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon sesame oil (or olive oil)

1 teaspoon grated ginger

1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for thicker sauce)

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, vinegar, cornstarch, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.

2. Pat shrimp dry with paper towels.

3. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

4. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from skillet and set aside.

5. Pour the sauce into the skillet and bring to a simmer for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.

6. Return shrimp to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce.

7. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions.

8. Serve immediately with rice, noodles, or steamed vegetables.

Notes

Use low-sodium soy sauce to control salt levels.

Add broccoli, bell peppers, or snap peas for extra color and crunch.

For meal prep, store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

Make it spicy by adding more chili flakes or sriracha.
