Ingredients
For the Dough:
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
For the Filling:
2 cups apples, peeled and diced
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon lemon juice
For the Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Cook for 5–7 minutes until softened. Let cool slightly.
3. Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle.
4. Spread the apple mixture down the center of the pastry.
5. Fold the sides over the filling and seal edges. Shape into an oval or ring.
6. Transfer to prepared baking sheet.
7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
8. In a bowl, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
9. Drizzle glaze over warm pastry.
10. Slice and serve.

Use tart apples like Granny Smith for the best flavor balance.
