Description

This delicious apple cider float is a cozy-meets-refreshing autumn treat! Creamy homemade cinnamon ice cream pairs perfectly with crisp apple cider for a fun twist on a classic float. It’s the ultimate fall dessert in a glass—great for gatherings, holidays, or sipping fireside.

Ingredients

For the Cinnamon Ice Cream:

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup whole milk

3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

For the Float:

Chilled apple cider (sparkling or still)

Optional toppings: caramel drizzle, whipped cream, cinnamon sticks, apple slices

Instructions

1. In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk cream, milk, sugar, cinnamon, and salt until sugar dissolves. Do not boil.

2. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, and let mixture cool. Chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight.

3. Churn in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer instructions. Freeze until firm (about 4 hours).

4. To assemble floats, add 1–2 scoops of cinnamon ice cream into a glass.

5. Pour chilled apple cider over the top until it fizzes up.

6. Top with optional caramel drizzle, whipped cream, or cinnamon stick.

7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

• No ice cream maker? Freeze in a loaf pan, stirring every 30 minutes for 3 hours.

• Sparkling cider adds a fizzy, fun twist!

• Great make-ahead dessert for fall parties or Thanksgiving.
